The Program
Mentors & Leaders is where MREFA members who are ready to go deeper come to build the technical skills that matter in CRE recruiting. Members build financial models, work through real deal case studies, and are coached one-on-one by peers who have already landed internships and full-time roles at top firms.
The program is designed for students who are not just curious about commercial real estate, but actively preparing to compete for roles in private equity, private credit, capital markets, investment banking, and asset management.

The Program
M&L builds your technical foundation from the ground up, starting with commercial real estate market fundamentals including how to read current trends, assess macro conditions, and understand what they mean for asset values and deal flow, developing the analytical instincts that underpin every decision made in the industry.
Mock Interview Preparation
Practice technical and behavioral questions with individual mentors leading the program who have been through the process at leading firms who understand what recruiters look for and how to stand out.
Case Study Presentation
The program culminates in a live case study presentation where you will apply everything built across the semester. Present your investment thesis on a real or recently traded asset to a panel of peers, walk the room through your analysis, defend your assumptions, and field pushback with confidence.
Who Should Apply
M&L is designed for members who are serious about competing for CRE roles and ready to do the work. General Education membership is a prerequisite.
Strong Candidates
