    Katie Scarborough is a senior from Atlanta, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance in the Marshall School of Business. Katie enjoys the tangible and relationship-driven nature of real estate, and she looks forward to serving as the 2022-2023 President of MREFA. This past summer, Katie interned at Andersen in Los Angeles on their Real Estate Valuation team. Previously, Katie interned at The Muller Company in Irvine, California, where she gained hands-on experience across all aspects of commercial real estate and development. Prior to that, she interned at Resurgens Technology Partners, a software-focused private equity firm in Atlanta. Katie is an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta and loves running, watching sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Zachary Estes

    Zach Estes is a senior from Fresno, CA pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance. He joined MREFA to meet other students following the real estate pathway and to hear from those working in the industry. This past summer he interned for Hines in Seattle on the acquisitions and development team. Additionally, he has previous internship experience in asset management, property management, and sales. Outside of real estate, Zach enjoys hot yoga, snowboarding, and country concerts.

  • Lucia Shao

    Lucia Shao is a senior from Massachusetts, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance and a minor in Web Technologies and Applications. She is currently serving as the Director of Communications for MREFA. This past summer, she interned at Ares Management as a Real Estate Equity Summer Analyst. In her free time, Lucia enjoys skiing, painting, and traveling.

  • Lorenzo Aguirre

    Lorenzo Aguirre is a junior from Los Angeles majoring in Business & Real Estate Finance. This year he is proudly serving as the Co-Director of Communications. After two years in the M&L program, he’s experienced the benefits this club brings to its members and looks forward to helping other Trojans build careers in the CRE industry. This past summer, Lorenzo interned with PGIM Real Estate on their Debt Originations team in Atlanta and returning next summer on the equity side in San Francisco. Prior to PGIM, he spent two semesters with Project Destined as an intern and program manager and participated in Eastdil Secured’s REFM training program. In his free time, Lorenzo enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor adventures from hiking and kayaking to going to the beach, and is always down for dessert time!

  • Nicholas Gaw

    Nicholas Gaw is a senior from Hong Kong majoring in Architecture with a minor in Real Estate Finance. He is currently serving as the Co-Director of the Mentors & Leaders program. Nicholas has spent the past summer working as a Real Estate Investment Sales Summer Analyst at Eastdil Secured in their Los Angeles office. Nicholas received a return offer after the internship and will be joining Eastdil Secured as a full-time Analyst after graduation. Nicholas has also had previous internship experience in Project Destined, Real Estate Development, and Architectural Design. Outside of school and work, Nicholas loves exploring the LA food scene, skiing in the mountains, and going on road trips around California.

  • Rohan Sunkureddi

    Rohan Sunkureddi is a junior from Houston, TX pursuing a BS in Real Estate Development as well as a minor in Business Finance. He is the current Co-Director of the Mentors and Leaders (M&L) Program for MREFA. This past summer, Rohan joined Nuveen on their Retail Acquisitions and Asset Management teams. Previously, he completed an internship at Weitzman, working with their tenant brokerage team. Next Summer, He will be interning at Bain Capital on their acquisitions team. In his free time, Rohan enjoys sports, spending time with friends, and venturing out to find new restaurants.

  • Brandon Fikhman

    Brandon Fikhman is a junior from Los Angeles pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance. He is currently the Director of Finance for MREFA. Over the past summer, Brandon has gained experience within the realm of multifamily development with his internship at APPA Real Estate. He also has previous experience in capital markets with his internship at Lever Capital Partners. In his free time, Brandon enjoys golfing with friends, playing tennis, or exploring new restaurants throughout the city.

  • Conrad Smith

    Conrad Smith is a senior from Los Angeles pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance and a minor in Real Estate Development. Conrad enjoys the client-facing nature of real estate and is currently serving as the Director of Events for MREFA. He worked as a Capital Markets Intern at CBRE in Denver this past summer, and previously worked at the real estate entitlement firm Irvine & Associates and real estate prop-tech startup Brick + Work in Los Angeles. All these experiences have fed into an even deeper enjoyment and understanding of real estate's fast-paced and dynamic world. Outside of school and work, he enjoys golfing, traveling, hiking, running, and exploring the LA food scene with friends.

  • Phuonggy Pham

    DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP & COMPANY OUTREACH LINKEDIN

    Phuonggy Pham is a senior from Vietnam, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Data Science & Operation in the Marshall School of Business. Phuonggy's passion for real estate comes from her fascination with how communities are formed around buildings and infrastructure. Phuonggy has also lived in 6 cities across Vietnam, Singapore and the US and her exposure to how cities evolved continuously further fuelled her drive to pursue real estate. This past summer, Phuonggy interned at Olive Tree Holdings, New York as part of the Acquisition and Capital Market teams. Previously, Phuonggy interned at Centre Urban Real Estate Partners where she worked directly under the CIO on acquisition and development underwriting. Prior to that, she worked for Savills, Vietnam for 6 months as a Market Research and Valuation intern. Phuonggy enjoys editing and producing her podcast episodes:Dear Future Daughters, besides singing and watching musicals with her friends.
